The University Campus Store is owned and operated by the University of Utah. We proudly provide the following products and services to the University community:

- General reading books including computer books, faculty authors, hard to find books and a large children's section

We have two retail locations:
The main campus store is located centrally on the University’s lower campus and a Health Sciences store is located in the new Health Sciences Education building.

The Campus Store
- The Campus Store generates approximately $20 million in annual sales. All monies above expenses are returned directly to the University.
- Is one of the few stores that are housed in their own building; most campus stores are integrated into their campus union building.
- Main store operates in a 55,000 sq. ft. building.
- Employs approximately 51 full-time and 64 part-time employees.
- Employs 142 temporary and seasonal employees to help with special events and semester openings.
- Is one of the largest employers of students on campus.
- Operates the Red Zones (University of Utah Logo & Apparel Stores) at Rice Eccles Stadium and the Huntsman Center.
Textbook Department
Is the most complete source for new and used textbooks for University of Utah students. Each semester we sponsor a textbook buyback that distributes more than $1,000,000 annually to students for the textbooks they no longer need. If you cannot participate in the regular retail buyback during final exam week, we do offer wholesale buyback on a continual basis all year long. We work very diligently to save students money on course materials by having the most possible used textbooks available to students at the beginning of each semester. Our advice to students is to buy your textbooks early, because we start returning the current semester's textbooks to the publisher starting the 8th week of classes. In fact, a good time to purchase your textbooks for next semester is right after you have participated in buyback.
General Book Department
Our General Book Department offers a fantastic selection of reading books. We have the latest best sellers in fiction, non-fiction, paperback and hardback. We have a great assortment of magazines, periodicals and children's books. Don't forget to check out our huge selection of bargain books when you are in the store. (You will want to check back often because we receive several shipments of bargain books each semester.) Look to us first for study guides, test prep materials, Cliff Notes and dictionaries. We have a very thorough foreign language section that will help you learn a few words (with a dictionary) or learn a whole new language (with vocabulary builders). We have a complete selection of faculty author books for you to checkout. We can special order anything in print. If we don't have it, we can get it.
Health Science Store
The Health Sciences Bookstore is located in the Health Sciences Education building. In addition to medical textbooks and supplies, this store has a large selection of educational supplies such as notebooks, binders, pens, palm pilots, gift items and cards. Need a break from studying? We also have cold beverages and a variety of snacks and candies.
The Health Science Store is also a 3M® Littmann Stethoscope Distributor with a wide variety of Pediatric, Classic, Cardiology, and Electronic Stethoscopes. As a distributor, our prices are more than competitive. So come visit us and upgrade from that "disposable" stethoscope you've been using.
Our store provides medical reference material and equipment to the entire United States via phone or email special orders. Whether you are looking for the Sanford Guide, a medical test prep book, or a rare medical book the other bookstores can't find, we can meet your needs.

Merchandise Department
We have everything you need to support your school including sweatshirts, t-shirts, socks, hats and ties. We also have a wide variety of mugs and glassware. Show your school spirit with key chains, flags, stickers, or magnets with the U logo all are available here. You can satisfy your appetite from our selection of bulk candy, snacks, ice cream and cold beverages. While you are here you can pickup a card for any occasion or browse our selection of Olympic merchandise.
Computer Department and Service Center
Our Computer Solutions Department can save you up to 70% on the normal retail price for academically priced software (you must be a student, faculty or staff to be eligible to purchase academically priced computer products). We carry a wide variety of computer systems and products including products from Apple, Compaq, Dell, Hewlett Packard, IBM, Gateway, Starwest, and Toshiba. We also carry many software titles for Apple and PC compatible computers. Our large peripheral and accessory selection includes printers and scanners from Epson, Canon, Hewlett Packard, Lexmark, Xerox, and Umax. If we don't stock it, we can special order it for you at the lowest possible market price. In all we have access to over 100,000 computer items from over 1,700 manufacturers. All of your campus computer sales needs can be met by this department (ext. 585-6177).
Our Service Center can repair video cameras, home audio equipment, microwaves, telephones and computer equipment. Our knowledgeable staff will bend over backwards to meet your needs.
Educational Supplies Department
Our Educational Supplies Department offers everything you need to stay on track. We carry a wide variety of calendars and day planners. We have a huge selection of pens, pencils, highlighters, markers, paper and notebooks. We carry combination locks, safety goggles, and blue books (blue books are used for essay testing). At our electronics counter we offer a wide variety of calculators, electronic planners, tape players and disc players. We provide mat cutting services and have all the art supplies that you will need, along with a knowledgeable staff to answer all your questions. We have film developing services so, you can drop of your film to be developed. All of your campus sales needs can be met by this department (ext. 581-5352).
