  • Treat co-workers and customers how you want to be treated.
  • Provide no less than legendary service at all times.
  • Theft of any amount, method, or form is not tolerated.
  • Sexual harassment or discrimination of any type is not tolerated.
  • The dress code is a policy, not a suggestion.
  • Arrive on time for your shift. Also, be aware that there are black-out periods in which no time off is given.
  • Wearing a name tag is required, unless you are at lunch or on a break.
  • Use employee entrance when arriving/departing for your shift.
  • Food and beverages are not allowed in the work area (except in exempt offices with the door closed).

Student Part Time Positions

Important Information:

Eligibility/Qualifications: Student Part-time positions require U of U student status (6 or more credit hours), and a daily 3-4 hour schedule commitment Monday through Friday with Saturday availability, amounting to 19-20 hrs/week.

The Perks: We offer a fun team oriented atmosphere, convenient location, employee discount (some exceptions apply), excellent training opportunities, student study days, an employee textbook loan program and employee recognition programs. Most Student Part-time positions start at $7.00 hr (unless otherwise indicated) and are eligible for a $.25/hr raise after each full semester worked.

Eligibility/Qualifications: Temporary positions do not require student status but are of limited duration.

The Perks: We offer a fun team oriented atmosphere, convenient location, employee discount (some exceptions apply), excellent training opportunities, employee discount program and employee recognition programs. Most temporary positions start at $7.50 per hour (unless otherwise indicated)

Important Information:

Eligibility/Qualifications: Temporary positions do not require student status, but are of limited duration. Temporary hiring primarily takes place July-Aug. and Nov-Dec. for Fall and Spring semester openings. Our temporary needs are limited during other periods of time.

Temporary positions start at $7.00 hr and are not eligible for a raise.

Author signings and book sales that you will want to know about and attend.

Textbook buyback dates, when used textbooks are in, and when to return your textbooks so you can save some extra dough.
